The mission of LBS is to train and develop Christian leaders who are able to supernaturally demonstrate the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. This mission is consistent with the mission of Lighthouse Christian Church, Sonoma. (Matt 28:19-20, Mk 16:15-18)  LBS seeks to gather leaders to the call of God, to train them in the Word of God, and then to release them into the purpose of God.

LBS is committed to providing quality training in both Biblical and ministerial studies.  As affiliates of the Assemblies of God, Northern California District, LBS embraces the Assemblies doctrinal statement and traditional Pentecostal heritage of a Spirit empowered life and ministry.  As the training arm of Lighthouse Christian Church, Sonoma, LBS exists to prepare Christian leaders to become certified ministers who preach the gospel in the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit.
