Description: Old Testament II is a study of the 9 historical books of the Old Testament from Joshua through Chronicles. The course is a study of Israel’s developing national identity from theocracy to monarchy. The course will emphasize God’s dealings with Israel from rejection of theocracy to the formation and later decline of the monarchy. The course will also focus on the significant Old Testament personalities whose lives impacted civilization and influenced Israel. This course fulfills requirements for both the Level 1 Biblical Studies & Theology Certificate and Level 2 Ministerial Studies Certificate.
