Description: Life of Christ covers the life and teachings of Jesus Christ as recorded in the four gospels. The course begins with an exploration of the historical background of the gospels and Messianic prophesies. The emphasis of the course is the unfolding revelation of Jesus Christ as God incarnate. From the events of Christ’s birth to his death and resurrection, students will discover the importance and relevance of His teachings, miracles, and life example. Emphasis will be placed on God’s plan of eternal salvation and the importance of relating to the living Christ as he is alive and at work in the hearts of people today. This course fulfills requirements for both the Level 1 Biblical Studies & Theology Certificate and Level 2 Ministerial Studies Certificate.
