Title: Practical Ministry I - Discipleship

Description: Each student who wishes to earn a Level 2 Ministerial Studies Certificate must enroll in Practical Ministry Courses. Topics that are covered in Practical Ministry 1 include the basics of discipleship and the cultivation of essential characteristics of Christian living. The course will emphasize not only how to be a disciple but how to make disciples as well. Practical Ministry Courses are designed to give ministry candidates practical, hands-on training that will develop excellence in ministry. Additionally, each student will be placed in a variety of service opportunities within the local church to develop ministry experience in different contexts and cultural expressions. Each student will regularly meet with an assigned supervisor for accountability and feedback. This course fulfills requirements for Level 2 Ministerial Studies Certificate.
